Day 1 — Gauteng → Kruger National Park + Sunset safari

Early departure from Johannesburg/Pretoria towards Mpumalanga via Nelspruit. Descend the escarpment into the Lowveld and enter the world-famous Kruger National Park.

Arrive in time for a sunset game drive on open-sided safari vehicles (approx. 3 hours). Dinner at the camp restaurant.

Accommodation: Pretoriuskop Rest Camp (chalet; communal bathroom; upgrade possible).

Day 2 — Kruger game viewing + Sunset safari

Early wake up. Game drive in a closed vehicle — often the best time to find predators. Breakfast at a rest camp, continue game viewing and stop for lunch at a rest camp.

Rest during the heat of the day, then a sunset/night drive in open-sided SANParks vehicle to spot nocturnal animals. Dinner at camp.

Day 3 — Bush walk + Amarula + Moholoholo + Drakensberg foothills

Early bush walk — experience the bush on foot. Breakfast at camp, leave the park around noon and visit Phalaborwa.

Visit the Amarula factory for tasting, continue to Hoedspruit and visit Moholoholo Wildlife Sanctuary. Overnight near the Drakensberg; dinner at a nearby restaurant.
