Safari Itinerary
A 4-night, 5-day safari including 1 night at a country hotel in Hazyview, 2 nights in the Kruger Park region and 2 nights at a private game lodge with open vehicle sunrise and sunset safaris.
Day 1
Depart Johannesburg, Pretoria or OR Tambo Airport in the morning and travel through Mpumalanga towards the Kruger region. Visit highlights of the Panorama Route, including Three Rondavels, Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's Window, before arriving at your country hotel in Hazyview for overnight.
Day 2
Enter Kruger National Park for a full-day safari in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. Enjoy game viewing through different habitats, with stops at viewpoints and rest camps. Overnight in the Kruger Park region.
Day 3
Enjoy another Kruger safari experience before continuing to your private game lodge. Settle into the lodge and experience the African bushveld atmosphere. Depending on arrival time, join an afternoon or sunset open vehicle safari. Overnight at the private game lodge.
Day 4
Spend the day at the private game lodge. Join open 4x4 safari vehicles for a sunrise safari and a late afternoon sunset safari with experienced lodge guides. Between game drives, relax at the lodge and enjoy the peaceful bushveld surroundings. Overnight at the private game lodge.
Day 5
Enjoy a final early morning open vehicle safari before breakfast. After check-out, depart the private game lodge and travel back to Johannesburg, Pretoria or OR Tambo Airport. Arrival is normally during the late afternoon or early evening.
