DETAILED ITINERARY : Private Game lodge safari
Day 1 - Mpumalanga Province - Kruger National Park
We depart early from Pretoria/Johannesburg and travel in a eastern direction towards the Mpumalanga Province, down the eastern escarpment and through the lowveld and then entering the world famous Kruger National Park. Inside the Park, we will start spotting the Big5 on our way to our overnight accommodation and arrive late in the afternoon at our restcamp and after a well earned break, enjoying a delicious dinner in the camp restaurant.

Day 2 - Limpopo/Mpumalanga Province - Kruger National Park
We start the day with a sunrise safari and looking for Africas Big Five - Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Lion, followed by breakfast. The tourist guide and vehicle is at all times available during the day for game-viewing drives along the well-maintained and excellent roads that exist inside the Kruger Park.
We prefer to spend the second night at a different restcamp, providing you with the opportunity to observe the ever-changing habitat while traveling inside the Park.

Day 3 - Limpopo/Mpumalanga Province - Private Game Reserve
After breakfast we exit the Kruger Park and travel to an exclusive lodge in a nearby private game reserve. Later this afternoon a sunset game drive in specially adapted open 4X4 vehicles is undertaken. You will enjoy sundowners at dusk deep in the bush, and the safari continues, while the ranger will making use of spot lights to search for nocturnal animals. The highlight for today is a specially prepared dinner enjoyed under the stars around the campfire. (weather permitting)

Day 4 - Limpopo/Mpumalanga Province - Private Game Reserve
After a early wake up, we start yet another exciting day off in Big Five territory. We start the day early with a sunrise safari in open 4x4 vehicles and after the safari you return to the lodge for a late breakfast.
You can embark after breakfast on a guided bush walk with an armed ranger, who will identify droppings and spoor and at the same time, share with you some of the fascinating secrets of the bush. This is a truly exhilarating experience.
This evening a sunset safari in open 4x4 vehicles is undertaken, followed by a delicious South African dinner.

Day 5 - Mpumalanga Province | Pilgrims Rest
After a final sunrise safari and a late breakfast, we travel up the escarpment and visit the many attractions and view points along the Panorama Route including the Bourkes Luck Potholes, 3 Rondavels, Gods Window and the historic gold mining town of Pilgrims Rest. We will overnight at a beautiful country lodge high up in the mountains outside Pilgrims Rest.

We start to travel back to Pretoria/Johannesburg after a late breakfast. Will drop you off at a guest house or hotel of your choice, or the Johannesburg International Airport.
