DETAILED ITINERY KRUGER PARK CAPE TOWN GARDEN ROUTE
Day 1 - Kruger National Park - Mpumalanga Province
Departure early in the morning from Pretoria/Johannesburg and as we travel in a
eastern direction towards the Mpumalanga Province, we visit many attractions and view points along the Panorama
Route, including the Bourke's Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels, Gods Window and the historic gold mining town of Pilgrims Rest. We descend in the late afternoon the eastern escarpment and travel through the low veld to our country lodge, outside the Kruger National Park.

Day 2 - Limpopo/Mpumalanga Province - Kruger National Park
Early in the morning, we will have breakfast at the lodge and then travel to the nearest entrance gate to the Kruger National Park. Inside the Kruger Park, we will start seeing some of the numerous animals that inhabit this magnificent wildlife sanctuary. We will travelling in a
northern direction inside the Kruger Park and in the late afternoon, arriving at our camp. There is time for a short break before joining an exciting open vehicle sunset safari, looking for
Africa's Big Five - Rhino, Lion, Buffalo, Elephant and Leopard.
Accommodation tonight is in comfortable en-suite bungalows or cottages. Supper is enjoyed in the camp restaurant.

Day 3 - Limpopo/Mpumalanga Province - Private Game Reserve
We exit the Kruger Park after breakfast and travel to our exclusive lodge in a Private Game Reserve. Later during the day, we will undertake a exhilarating sunset safari in specially adapted open 4 X 4 vehicles.. At sunset, sundowners are enjoyed deep in the bush, and after sunset, the ranger will making use of spotlights to search for nocturnal animals. A specially prepared dinner is awaiting us under the stars around the campfire at the lodge. (weather permitting)

Day 4 - Limpopo/Mpumalanga Province - Private Game Reserve
An early wake up call signals the start of yet another exciting day in Big Five territory.
You depart on an early morning safari in open 4 x 4 vehicles after which you return to the lodge for a late breakfast.
After breakfast you can embark on a guided bush walk with an armed ranger, who will identify spoor and droppings and share with you some of the fascinating secrets of the bush. If you are lucky you may come across big game on foot - a truly exhilarating experience.
This evening another safari in open 4 x 4 vehicles is undertaken, followed by a scrumptious South African dinner

Day 5 - Gauteng Province - Johannesburg
After a final open vehicle game drive and a late breakfast, we travel back to Johannesburg, where you are dropped off at your hotel, situated conveniently close to the
Johannesburg Airport. There is a complimentary shuttle service to the airport.

Day 6 - Western Cape Province - Cape Town
After breakfast you take the complimentary shuttle bus to the Johannesburg Airport for a 2-hour domestic flight to Cape Town. Upon your arrival at the Cape Town Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel, ideally situated at the Victoria
and Alfred Waterfront. After lunch you depart on an afternoon City, Blouberg Beach and Table Mountain Tour. Bring your camera! This tour of the Mother City offers you the chance to photograph her very best sights. We start our afternoon with a visit to Table Mountain for its spectacular views. After our descent we head into the City before visiting the beach at Blouberg, where we get a magnificent view of Table Mountain from across Table Bay!

Pretoriuskop
The impressive granite dome known as "Shabeni hill" is not far from the Pretoriuskop Rest Camp, which is found in the south-western corner of
the world-renowned Kruger National Park. It is immediately apparent to any visitor that Pretoriuskop, Kruger oldest rest camp, is unlike any other rest camp in the Kruger National Park.
Brilliant red trees adorn Kruger like surroundings, pre-dating the decision to make exclusive use of
indigenous plants in laying out rest camp gardens.
